Heh, second day of playing eve...
Logged into my Caldari char, had just got into my kessie. I had a friend join the game, and he was warping to and fro, going "oh MAN, PRETTY GAME". He totally skips the tutorial when I tell him "right click does EVERYTHING". Eventually he got around to the question of "what happens when you die?"
So, me, being an avid pvper from many other games, take him to a .9 system. Because we all know .9 is much less secure than 1.0 (shut UP, it was my second day ._.). I lock him, right near the gate, and unload my missiles... we decided he should die, as he had a newb ibis and I was in my ungodly kestrel of wtfdoom. Well, first missiles hit and hes down to hull... and CONCORD shows up.
So at this point Im going OMGWTF and trying to run away wondering why the mean police are beating on me - I mean, hes my corpmate, and I already told him I was gunna wail on him, I didnt have a bounty - whats going on here!? So their first volley hits me, and man, it burns. About this time, my second volley hits my friend. Hes in a pod.
"EUREKA!" I shouted IRL, wondering what happens next. Now, Im ****ed, because I am going to lose my precious kessie. This is NOT the time to anger the Razner with whines like "omg my ibis" "where is the bathroom" "I cannot feel my toes..." etc. My friend, in his infinite wisdom, screams on gang chat "YOU ARENT JUST LEAAAAVING ME HEERE, AAARREE YOOOU?"
This is the point in the game where I turned bad.
I grinned and locked onto him, and said "No way Turner, leaving you here would be cruel."
"You damn right."
"Im killing you instead."
"WTF".
My volley hit him and destroyed him at the same instant my ship died to concord. And that is how my 2 day old character, Fenga Montego, got his -1.2 sec status... and that is why I quit. Edit - using HIM, anyway. Besides, hes stinky caldari. Intaki are much sexier. <3
Theres also the story about me freaking out over the 5k bounty a STI mate put on my head... but I wont get into that.
